I hate pretenders

And there are so many of them…

The ones who pretend to love,

Those who pretend not to;

Those who pretend to hate; and pretend not to…

I hate pretenders…

You hate something bitterly enough 

To start becoming it yourself…

But I am bad at pretending…

I was bad at pretending…

Until I pretended to master it!

It isn’t to hard to be a pretender-

And I hate pretenders…

I pretended to many of the handful I never pretend to…

And I hate pretenders…

More than I hate myself…

For pretending,

Again!

And again…
